When it comes to Titleist, most people think about golf balls more than anything else. As they mention on just about every TV ad, “Titleist…the number one ball in golf.”
While they have been the leaders of creating cutting edge technology in the golf ball industry, they also make great clubs and golf bags. Titleist has a long history with the game of golf and continues to make awesome products for every part of your game.
The Titleist golf bags are no different. They have a big selection of cart bags, stand bags, and even a few hybrid bags as well. In this post, I’ll focus on reviewing the best Titleist golf stand bags to help you decide the right one for your game.
Titleist has three options for its stand bag collection:
- Players 4 Stand Bag (Least expensive model)
- Players 4 Plus Stand Bag (Mid-range golf bag)
- Players 4 STADRY Stand Bag (Most expensive)
Here’s an overview of how each one compares to each other:
This is the lowest-price stand bag from Titleist, but it still comes with plenty of features like:
- Specs: 3.8 pounds, six pockets, and convertible strap
- High-grade aluminum legs and advanced hinged bottom for best-in-class stability and durability
- Self-balancing, convertible strap system
- Dual-density foam for long-lasting comfort
- Dedicated water bottle and range finder pockets
- Full-length apparel pocket
It comes in 11 different colors including hunter green, charcoal, and sleet black.
The Titleist Players 4 Plus stand bag comes with an extra waterproof pocket to protect your valuables. It has all of the perks of the Players 4 stand bag but weighs 4.3 pounds instead of 3.8 pounds. It also comes in a lot of different colors with an emphasis on blue and turquoise.
The Players 4 STADRY stand bag is made for playing golf in the rain. If you’re a golfer who doesn’t mind battling the conditions, this is probably the golf bag for you. It has all of the features of the previous two bags plus STADRY waterproof construction with seam-sealed zippers. This ensures your gear will stay dry so you can focus on the game, not the weather.
The Players 4 STADRY weighs the same (3.8 pounds) as the Players 4 Stand Bag. It also comes in different colors than the others but would recommend going with darker ones if you’re playing in muddy, wet conditions. While the all-white bag looks sleek, I can’t see it lasting too long in tough conditions.
Each bag is made to keep you comfortable so you can focus on golf. Here are the biggest features:
- Lightweight design: There isn’t much worse than trying to carry a heavy bag for 18 holes. But every model is around four pounds making it very easy to carry for an entire round.
- Cushioned straps: Their convertible straps are cushioned for maximum comfort. They are ultra-thick and keep your shoulders feeling good for the four-plus hours it takes for a round of golf.
- Sturdy construction: Another massive perk is the heavy-duty construction of all Titleist golf bags. They are resistant to the most common types of damage and will last longer than the competition. While they cost more than most stand bags they will also last quite a bit longer.
- Amazing color choices: One huge perk with all the Titleist bags is the huge selection of colors. Each option has at least nine different colors including one color and two-tone options.
Not sure if the Titleist golf stand bag is right for you? Check out our top three alternates:
The Sun Mountain 4.5 LS 14-Way stand bag is one of the most expensive golf bags out there but it’s well worth the price tag. This midsize stand bag fills the gap between minimalist carry bags and oversized cart bags. If you’re someone who is committed to walking more and getting in better golf shape, this is the bag for you.
One of the biggest perks of the Sun Mountain bag is the 14 full-length club dividers. This is a feature that the normal Titleist stand bags don’t have and are great if you are carrying around brand new shafts you don’t want to be damaged. The 14 full-length dividers make sure each club gets its own storage compartment to significantly reduce wear and tear.
Overall, I think there are a ton of qualities that make this bag well worth the price tag. It will easily fit in your trunk, lightweight so you can carry a full 18 holes, and also cart ready with its pass-through strap. As I mentioned in the intro, Titleist also offers a hybrid golf bag collection as well. These bags are heavier than stand bags (around 5.6 pounds) but much lighter than cart bags. If you’re looking for a more sturdy bag and aren’t walking every time, this could be a good option for you.
The Titleist Hybrid 14 bag comes with the same high-grade aluminum legs and advanced hinged bottom for best-in-class stability and durability. It also has a self-balance convertible strap system and also comes with a cart strap tunnel to easily access your pockets.
There are two big perks this bag has over the normal stand bags. First, it has a total of eight pockets including a double apparel pocket for maximum storage. The other major perk is the 14-way club divider.
This is similar to the Sun Mountain and provides maximum protection for all of your golf clubs. It’s a cart-friendly design and superior organization makes it a top alternative to a traditional, lightweight stand bag.
Another comparable golf bag is the TaylorMade 5.0 Stand Bag but it comes in at about half the price of the Titleist stand bags. It provides a ton of storage for all your golf gadgets and has a beautiful, lightweight design. This bag has a 5-way organizational top and six pockets for all of your golfing needs.
The TaylorMade bag also has an automatic, anti-slip stand system with non-slip foot pads that provide convenience and security. The bag also has contoured, ergonomic dual shoulder straps with air mesh that are comfortable for your shoulders. If you’re not quite as much of an avid walker and want to save a few bucks, this is an awesome choice.

Yes, each Titleist stand bag comes with a matching rain hood.
Yes, each bag comes with a water bottle holder but not a full cold storage pocket. These are only in the heavier cart bag collection.
Yes, all of the Titleist bags come with a velour-lined valuables pocket.
Titleist gives you a lot of options when it comes to picking the right stand bag for your game. All of them are comfortable, lightweight, and easy to carry for 18 holes. The biggest factors to consider are waterproof capabilities, price, and color.
If you’re playing golf in the rain frequently, I would spend the extra money to get the STADRY as there isn’t much worse than having your gear get soaked. The other big thing to consider is color. While all of them come in the standard black, white, and red colors, each model has its own unique set as well.
The Titleist stand bags are more expensive than most, I think it’s worth the money based on long-term use and comfort. Unless you need 14 club dividers, I would recommend the stand bag over a hybrid version.
Ultimately, there isn’t a ton of difference between the three models but all carry on the tradition for Titleist making exceptional products. Personally, I’ve used a version of the Titleist stand bag for the past seven years and have nothing but positive experience. The colors last, the stand never fails, and the bag never rips.
